Talks are still ongoing over a swap deal that would see misfiring striker Alvaro Morata heading to AC Milan in exchange for Gonzalo Higuain.

The Uruguayan became the most-expensive player in French history when joining PSG from Napoli six years ago.

Despite have to contend with superstars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe throughout that period, the South American has still fired 126 top-flight goals for the Ligue 1 champions.

FAB'S FLIGHT Fabregas flying to Monaco to seal deal to join Henry’s side

Chelsea have scored just 38 times in the Premier League so far this season – the lowest total by far of the top six.

But they may face competition from China for Cavani, with several clubs believed to be considering offering him a huge sum to head to the Far East.

Meanwhile, Sarri wants to offload several members of his squad before the transfer window slams shut.

Cesc Fabregas will be the first player out of the exit door.

He is flying to Monaco today to finalise a move to join Thierry Henry’s strugglers after bidding an emotional farewell to Chelsea in yesterday’s FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest.
