LIVERPOOL fans are hoping boss Jurgen Klopp has that magic touch to bring them their first league title for 19 years.

And after the Wolves game, the German gaffer may have revealed he does indeed have special powers.

TV footage appears to capture Klopp bringing in Xherdan Shaqiri in for a hug before making him disappear.

It of course is [probably] a trick of the angles - but it left football fans convinced that the 51-year-old must have a 'magic coat'.

As Shaqiri disappeared into it, team-mate Fabinho came out - leaving people to admit to being "tripped out" after seeing it.

Chris Stark posted on Twitter that he "can't stop watching", while Finn MacLean wrote that "Klopp is magic".

Another mentioned the famous "now you see me, now you don't" phrase, while Steven Tilley added that "Klopp turned Shaqiri into Fabinho".

John Goymer wrote that "Klopp has powers", and Vinnat Kumarr asks "what witchcraft is this?"

John Bailey wrote that "Klopp's coat is like a Tardis" before adding "it's magic, I tell ya."

Colin Campbell had a sly dig at one of Liverpool's under-performers on the night, when he posted: "Should have done it with Moreno".

And Liverpool fan "Peter" wanted to know why Klopp "couldn't magic us into the next round".

That's because there was a distinct lack of magic on the pitch as Liverpool slumped to a 2-1 defeat to exit the FA Cup at the third round stage.

The Premier League leaders paid the price for fielding a weakened side as they were knocked out by Wolves.

The Merseysiders fell behind to a Raul Jimenez goal on the break in the 38th minute, the Mexican firing home confidently after Diogo Jota robbed James Milner.

Belgian forward Divock Origi brought Liverpool, seven-times FA Cup winners, level in the 51st minute with a well-placed effort from the edge of the area.

But Wolves grabbed the winner four minutes later when Ruben Neves struck a superb low drive from 30 yards out.
