Chelsea target Mauro Icardi is ‘far away’ from new Inter deal, says agent Wanda
Inter forward's wife-agent has revealed four clubs are chasing her client, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG
CHELSEA target Mauro Icardi is "far away" from signing a new deal at Inter Milan, according to his agent - and wife - Wanda.
The Serie A forward's wife-agent has revealed four clubs are chasing her client, including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Both Wanda and Mauro want a higher salary and claim they're a long way from penning an extended deal at the San Siro.
Now Chelsea are thought to be hopeful of bringing the Argentine star to Stamford Bridge.
On the potential renewal of Icardi's contract, Wanda claimed: "The renewal of Icardi with Inter is very far away today.
"We are far from reaching an agreement, we have not yet received a satisfactory proposal from Inter.
"I do not deny that on any moment we can reach an agreement, but today we are very far.
"It is not logical to renew the contract for the amount of money that Mauro already earns. We believe that Mauro deserves more."
Meanwhile, the forward's wife-agent revealed FOUR European giants are chasing her client, suggesting they are Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG and Chelsea.
Wanda said: "There are very important clubs interested in Mauro... the two most important clubs in Spain, with whom we have excellent relationships, plus an English and a French team."
