Son arrives for Asian Cup at worst possible time for Tottenham amid Kane injury fears after Man Utd loss

TOTTENHAM forward Son Heung-min has arrived for the Asian Cup as he prepares to link up with his South Korea teammates.
Son missed South Korea’s opening two games which they won against Philippines and Kyrgyzstan, but he arrives in time for the final group stage match against China on Wednesday.
The South Korean captain arrives at the worst possible time for Tottenham,who were dealt an injury blow to captain Harry Kane yesterday, after he picked up an ankle injury.
As Tottenham were beaten by Manchester United at Wembley, skipper Kane suffered an injury towards the final whistle.
Kane was seen limping off at the end as Mauricio Pochettino will now be dealt with a striking crisis having now lost Son to international duties.
After Tottenham’s defeat Pochettino admitted losing his two forwards would be ‘massive’ though he hopes Kane’s injury is ‘not a big issue’.

Pochettino said: "It was a clear foul on Harry Kane.
"It was a bad tackle and now he has bit of a swelling on his ankle.
"It wasn't the intention of the United player but it was a bad tackle and Kane was limping after the game.
"We are going to lose Son Heung-min for the Asia Cup and if Kane suffers an injury, it is going to be massive for us. He twisted his ankle and we hope that it is not a big issue."
Son and Kane have notched 22 goals between them in the league this season as Tottenham sit third in the league.
However, despite the pair regularly finding the net this season, Tottenham have always run the risk of being caught out through lack of squad depth.
With Kane injured and Son otherwise occupied, Tottenham will be left to look at their thin line of reinforcements.
Fernando Llorente, who has made 13 appearances this season, starting just two of those games, is Pochettino's only immediate striking replacement.
The Spaniard has scored four times this season, though three of those goals came in Tottenham’s 7-0 drubbing of Tranmere in the FA Cup.
Son has partnered Kane in upfront as part of Pochettino's diamond formation, however, the South Korean has also played out wide this term.
Tottenham could be forced to switch their shape to accommodate Erik Lamela, a winger, coming in for Son with Llorente filling in for Kane.
