MORE than 30 Manchester United fans were ejected from Wembley during Sunday’s win at Tottenham after they infiltrated home areas.
And Spurs officials are now attempting to identify whether the supporter who racially abused Korean star Son Heung-min was a home or away fan.
United were handed the normal 3000 away allocation for the crunch clash, which attracted a total attendance in excess of 80,000 - the second biggest in the Prem this season.
But while tickets for home fans were only available to those on the club’s database, it is clear that some sold on their seats to United supporters.
Stewards inside the national stadium were alerted to the travelling fans in the home sections with the mass ejections determined as the appropriate course of action.
Tottenham are attempting to investigate and identify the original purchasers, who broke the law if they sold the tickets on.

The fact that there were United fans in the home sections has made it even more difficult for Tottenham officials to identify the supporters who made racially abusive comments towards Son during the game.
Spurs chiefs are working with the supporter who made the complaint to stewards in a bid to identify the person responsible.
The club urges supporters to provide all possible information, including seat numbers and their location in the ground, to stewards whenever they hear racist, homophobic or other illegal comments or chants.

One home fan was ejected from the game with Wolves over Christmas after he made racist comments about Son on social media. He remains banned by the club.
Spurs will sanction the supporters if he can be identified, with a ban almost certain as the club continues to clamp down on any racism.
But Tottenham cannot at this stage rule out the possibility that the supporter who abused the Korean was a United fan who was in the wrong end.
