JACK RODWELL is reportedly a shock target for Italian minnows Livorno.
claims the Blackburn ace could be heading to Serie B this month after starring in the Championship.
Rodwell has made seven appearances for Rovers after joining them in the summer.
And his ability to play centre-back and central midfield has seen Livorno emerge out of nowhere with a tempting offer.
The club are struggling in the second tier of Italian football.
And they believe Rodwell can help them beat the drop in the second half of the season.

The 27-year-old’s Blackburn deal expires at the end of the season.
And he may fancy a spell abroad after spending his entire career in England.
Rodwell was one of the players featured in the Netflix documentary Sunderland Til I Die, because he refused to take a pay cut on his £70,000-a-week deal despite the club's financial problems.
Sunderland cancelled his contract in June after being relegated to League One
Rodwell began his playing days at Everton, doing enough to catch the eye of Manchester City in 2012.
However, he failed to set the Etihad alight and ended up spending four seasons at Sunderland from 2014, sticking with them through their successive relegations from the Premier League to League One.
