WATFORD are demanding £30million for Gerard Deulofeu – and have already turned down a £22m offer from AC Milan.
West Ham have entered the race by making an enquiry for the 24-year-old Spaniard but have yet to table a bid.
Milan have been making noises about the former Barcelona and Everton midfielder throughout the January transfer window.
Deulofeu, who completed a permanent move to Watford for around £12m last summer, has been in good form.
The Hornets have been insisting that the winger is not for sale as they are not desperate to sell but equally, £30m would result in a hefty profit.
Deulofeu spent a stint at Milan in 2017, making 16 Serie A starts and scoring four goals.
The four-cap Spanish international has featured in 17 Premier League games this season - chipping in with three goals and three assists.
He started in yesterday's 2-1 defeat against Tottenham at Wembley, before being replaced in the 61st minute.

They dropped down to ninth in the table after losing to Spurs and now trail seventh-placed Wolves by two points.
