Smith Rowe joins RB Leipzig as Arsenal loan out young star for the rest of the season
ARSENAL have loaned young star Emile Smith Rowe to RB Leipzig for the rest of the season.
The midfielder, 18, becomes the next talented youngster to head to Germany in search of first-team football this term.
Smith Rowe joins the likes of Jadon Sancho and Gunners team-mate Reiss Nelson in the Bundesliga.
And West Ham youngster Reece Oxford could be on his way to Augsburg - after Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah failed to complete his move to the same club.
But this evening, Leipzig tweeted: "We are delighted to announce the loan singing of @emilesmithrowe!
"The 18-year-old joins us on loan until the end of the season from @Arsenal and will wear the number 18 shirt. Welcome to Leipzig, Emile!"

Smith Rowe burst onto the scene during last summer's pre-season - after he scored a stunning effort against Atletico Madrid in Singapore.
The Gunners star has been at the club since he was ten-years-old and signed a new long-term contract earlier this season.
But now he will get his wish and be afforded more first-team opportunities having been limited to cup games this term.
Smith Rowe has played six times for Arsenal this season, all in the Carabao Cup and Europa League.
