RYAN SESSEGNON is stalling on signing new long-term Fulham deal, according to reports.
The 18-year-old has attracted strong attention from Manchester United and Tottenham since he helped Fulham gain Premier League promotion last season.
However, the versatile left-sided player has remained at Craven Cottage though is yet to extend his current deal beyond 18 months.
claim Fulham chiefs are still waiting for Sessegnon to commit his future with talks over a new deal beginning in May.
Sessegnon has featured in all but three of Fulham’s 25 league games this season, with two of those absences coming through injury.
However, the 18-year-old, who has been deployed as both a winger and full-back down the left this season, has not started in Fulham’s last three matches.
Claudio Ranieri brought in ex-Liverpool man Ryan Babel in the winter window and the Dutchman has found himself starting in the left-wing position.
While Joe Bryan has filled the left-wingback role meaning Sessegnon has been starting on the bench.
The Cottagers are battling relegation and sit second from bottom, seven points adrift of safety.
Sessegnon is unlikely to want to play in the Championship next season, meaning Fulham may have to remain in the top flight to hold onto the teenager.
He has scored twice for Fulham this season, including a goal against Arsenal in a 4-1 defeat.
