But Kristof Terreur, who writes for Het Lasstste Nieuws and did a big interview with Hazard earlier this week, claims he is thinking about life after Stamford Bridge.

In a discussion over player power costing Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte their jobs and rearing its head again, one commentator called Hazard a "rat".

But the journalist argued Hazard has never given up on any of his managers - and even though he wants to leave the club he has still performed at his best.

Terreur wrote: "His head is with Real since the summer, still he has provided the half of the goals and still he was the main man in the semi-finals of the League Cup."

The journalist also said that Hazard isn't a player who has given up on managers

He had earlier written: "You should ask players/managers who worked with him if [Hazard] is the rat.

"Even Mourinho is still in touch with him.

"A rat that finished Conte’s season in style by scoring in the FA Cup final, although he didn’t like the way he worked. And he loves working under Sarri."

Terreur also claimed that Hazard has always been one of the most committed in training, even when he's not been playing that well.

He added: "Hazard’s main problem is that he doesn’t like negativity, shouting, players and managers having spats, an annoyed dressing room.

"He needs the fun to perform."

Former Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois has said it would be "nice" to have his international team-mate join him in Spain.

Courtois, already hated by Chelsea fans, said: "It would be nice, but I can't say too much about it.

"That's something he has to decide himself.

"And Real... I don't know if they want him. Eden is a top player and my friend."
