Man Utd ‘set to bid world-record £262m for PSG and Brazil ace Neymar’
Stunning reports claim Red Devils are preparing huge offer for one of world football's best players
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly set to bid a world-record £262million for PSG superstar Neymar.
sensationally claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to break the bank for the boy from Brazil if he is named as Jose Mourinho’s full-time successor this summer.
It would represent a huge coup for United, with Neymar widely regarded as the third-best player in world football behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He joined PSG 18 months from Barcelona in a record £200m switch.
But Neymar’s time in France has been far from perfect, with reports suggesting he has failed to settle and craves a move abroad.
However, that has not stopped him from scoring 48 goals in just 53 appearances, leading PSG to the Ligue 1 title last term and putting them top of the pile in the current campaign.

And despite being out for up to ten weeks with an ankle injury, United are apparently determined to bring Neymar to Old Trafford.
The ace did not feature in PSG’s 2-0 Champions League last-16 first-leg win at the Theatre of Dreams on Tuesday.
But he watched the action from home and could feel a move to United would be perfect for his career.
However, the report adds that Real Madrid are also keen on striking a deal for Neymar, with Los Blancos also interested in Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
