MANCHESTER UNITED followed up a credible draw against Liverpool with a 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils secured a 0-0 on Sunday despite Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata going off in the first half and leaving Marcus Rashford to limp on for a full 90 minutes.
And in the Englishman's absence, Romelu Lukaku stepped up to star at Selhurst Park.
What are the latest updates on Man Utd's injuries?
Speaking to the Man United website, Solskjaer joked that "Michael (Carrick) might be putting his boots on", but the situation is "not as bad as needing me yet."
On a more serious note, he said that Marcus Rashford's ankle is "like a balloon" after the striker suffered a rough challenge from Jordan Henderson.
The Norwegian added: "If that's not an accumulation of fouls I don't know what is."
Ander Herrera was the first man off with what appeared to be a knock to his right hamstring.

Juan Mata then went down and grimaced as he tried to continue, before being replaced by Jesse Lingard.
And Jesse Lingard has been confirmed as having a hamstring injury, but Press Association's Simon Peach said he was "walking gingerly but unaided" and carrying an ice pack.
In his Friday press conference, Solskjaer said that Rashford will be "probably start" against Southampton.
The Norwegian commented: "He (Rashford) still felt it Wednesday night but he'll be ready, I'll probably start him."
But he added that Anthony Martial remains a doubt, saying: "It's the last session today but we're not going take any risks.
"Maybe Anthony, but it might just be a few more days before he's ready, so probably the squad will look similar to what it did at Wednesday."
