Kolo Toure makes Premier League return as Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester assistant at Watford

KOLO TOURE has returned to the Premier League as Brendan Rodgers' assistant at Leicester.

The former Liverpool boss took his backroom staff from Celtic with him to the King Power Stadium.

Toure has been working alongside Rodgers at Celtic Park since he joined as a technical assistant in September 2017.

The 37-year-old has also been working as an assistant manager for the Ivory Coast international team since August 2017.

He was named as the head coach of his country's Olympic squad and the Under-23 side after he joined.

Toure ended his playing career in Glasgow after spells with Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and ASEC Mimosas.

Celtic assistant boss Chris Davies and head of performance Glen Driscoll have also made the move south.

Rodgers has been with the Scottish giants since 2016, but he has quit and made a £6 million move to Leicester.
