SICK Celtic fans have been caught on camera chanting “I hope you die in your sleep Brendan Rodgers... with a bullet from the IRA".
Hoops fans were left fuming this week when Rodgers quit to take over Leicester.
But some crossed the line with their abuse as they linked up on Wednesday night for the first match since the former Liverpool manager's departure.
In the 13-second clip, a small group of supporters can be heard singing the slur about their former manager inside an Edinburgh pub.
The footage was taken at the Roseburn Bar before Celtic's last gasp 2-1 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle.
Some fans are heard chanting “I hope you die in your sleep Brendan Rodgers” then add “with a bullet from the IRA”.
One sickened onlooker told the Scottish Sun Online: "It was the usual 'I hope you die in your sleep' chant with something about the IRA at the end."
Fellow Hoops supporters have blasted those in the clip after it emerged on social media.
One Facebook user said: "I'm a Celtic fan and that is embarrassing. Section of immature little a*******s that follow us these days could do without them."
Another posted: "Like most Celtic fans, the way he has left is what's annoyed us but these boys are clowns for singing this."
And another added: "Fans like this are a disgrace. If Celtic are genuinely committed to moving forward in society in the 21st century let's see some banning orders."
Sick trolls were slammed for aiming after he suffered a heart attack in January 2018.
