MANCHESTER UNITED cruised past Crystal Palace on Wednesday as the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bandwagon rolled on.
The United interim boss is loving life back at Old Trafford – unbeaten in his 11 league games in charge, winning nine and drawing two since he replaced Jose Mourinho in December.
And how about that dodgy defence Mourinho was moaning about?
Solskjaer has seen his troops keep six clean sheets with the only blot on his copybook being the Champions League defeat at home to Paris Saint-Germain.
Many scoffed when the 46-year-old was drafted in until the end of the season from Molde after his disastrous stint in charge of Cardiff City in 2014.
But now Solskjaer is in pole-position to become the United boss long-term after overseeing an incredible turnaround in fortunes in terms of results and style of play.
SunSport has looked at the records that have tumbled since Solskjaer’s stunning return to the Premier League.
Best start as a new Manchester United boss
The first record Solskjaer set was in January when United beat Brighton. He became the first manager to win his first six matches in charge, surpassing the five-game win record set by Sir Matt Busby.
Equals Premier League win record for a new manager
The Brighton win saw the Norwegian level a record set by Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea and Pep Guardiola at Manchester City by winning his first six matches in charge.
Solskjaer could have been out on his own if United had not been held at home to Burnley in their next game.
Biggest points haul in opening ten games
The bore draw with Liverpool last week saw him bag the most amount of points of any top-flight boss in their first ten games.
Solskjaer has collected 26 points during that period, surpassing the record held by former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink.
Topples Sir Alex Ferguson for away wins
The midweek win at Selhurst Park was the first time United had won eight games on the spin on the road in all competitions.
In 26 years at Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson only made it seven, but he did it twice, once while Solskjaer was part of the squad in 2002.
Away wins at Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea
The Stamford Bridge FA Cup win last month was their first triumph at Chelsea since 2012.
Reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals meant Solskjaer had masterminded wins at Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea, the first time a United manager has done it since the Ron Atkinson era.
In the 1984/85 season, Atkinson guided his side to a 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a 1-0 win at Highbury and a 2-1 triumph at White Hart Lane during United’s FA Cup-winning season.
More wins then Mourinho this season
A damning indictment on Mourinho's disastrous third season in charge was that he won just ten out of 24 games before he was sacked.
Solksjaer has been in the hot seat for 15 games and has already picked up 12 wins.
