NEW Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers will consider raiding his old club Celtic for Dedryck Boyata in the summer.
The Belgium centre-back, 28, is out of contact at the end of the season so can move clubs on a free transfer.
Rodgers will look to bolster his defence with a long-term successor for 35-year-old Wes Morgan.
Boyata played in the group stage at the World Cup last summer.
Defender Filip Benkovic, on loan at Scottish Premiership champions Celtic from Leicester, is also likely to be part of Rodgers’ plans.
SunSport also understands Rodgers will be given a £200million transfer kitty for reinforcements this summer.
