THREE MIDDLESBROUGH fans were tricked into doing fancy dress for an away trip to Wigan.
The three fans walked into a pub dressed up as the Spice Girls - only to find out they had been pranked, with their pals left in hysterics.
Dressed in Baby, Ginger and Scary outfits with wigs, the Middlesbrough fans walk into the pub and soon realise their mates have had them on.
The lads took the joke well, laughing with their mates as football fans on Instagram were left applauding the prank.
One said: “Their fans are more entertaining that their football team. Quality fans.”
Another said: “Absolutely brilliant.”
One commented: “Up the Boro.”
Another wrote: “Nice one lads.”
The prank turned out to be as entertaining as the Championship clash between fifth-place Middlesbrough and 19th Wigan.
Promotion-chasing Boro were held to a goalless draw at the DW Stadium as they remain in the play-off position.
Tony Pulis’ men failed to build on their back-to-back wins coming into the game but remain unbeaten in three.
