Neil Lennon is interim Hoops gaffer and a big contender for the post, along with Kilmarnock’s Steve Clarke.

Lennon has until the end of the term to prove his case and could pick up the final two legs of a Scottish treble.

But the ex-Hibs boss also has to keep out of trouble with the authorities.

Moyes, 55, is a serious option as he looks for a job after leaving West Ham at the end of his short-term contract last summer.

The former Everton and Manchester United chief has also put feelers out to get a post in the cash-rich Chinese league and hopes his CV will open doors.

Meanwhile, Lennon was celebrating on Saturday after guiding Celtic to the last-four of the Scottish Cup.
