Marcus Rashford scored the winner from the spot after a controversial VAR handball against Presnel Kimpembe to spark jubilation in the away end at Parc des Princes.

The exuberant mood continued in the United dressing room after the match with Diogo Dalot sharing a video of his team's ecstatic celebrations.

The Portuguese full-back, who replaced the crocked Eric Bailly after half an hour, led the United chants before drawing Andreas Pereira into the mix.

Dalot then pans his phone around the dressing room as his team-mates revelled in the moment as Phil Jones, Fred and Marcos Rojo can also be seen singing in the footage.

The likes of Anthony Martial, Nemanja Matic, Alexis Sanchez, Ander Herrera, and Juan Mata all later uploaded reaction videos to the late penalty on Instagram.

The Norwegian was delighted "boss" Fergie - plus fellow legend Cantona - popped in to share the rejoicing after injury-hit United went through.

Sir Alex was in charge when subs Teddy Sheringham and Solskjaer struck in stoppage-time to clinch a Champions League final win over Bayern Munich in 1999.

He told beIN SPORTS: "It was great to see the boss in there after the game for the first time. The lads were absolutely magnificent.

"I'm just going to do my best until the summer and see what the club decides. Tonight we have to remember the spirit of Man United."
