Man Utd’s £500k-a-week flop Alexis Sanchez will refuse transfer away from Old Trafford in the summer
Forward has been plagued by injuries and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is thinking about moving him on
ALEXIS SANCHEZ will reportedly refuse a move away from Manchester United this summer despite slipping down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
The claims the Premier League’s top earner has no plans to leave, even if the club try to force him out.
Sanchez pockets over £500,000-a-week at the Theatre of Dreams and has a deal running until the summer of 2022.
But he has netted just five times in 41 appearances following a move from Arsenal in the 2018 winter transfer window.
Sanchez’s United career has been blighted by injury.
And he is out for another six weeks after damaging his knee against Southampton earlier this month.
Sanchez is apparently way down in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking hierarchy, with youngsters such as Mason Greenwood on the verge of becoming first-team regulars.
And United are said to be keen on offloading Sanchez in order to free up funds for other areas of the squad.
However, it’s noted that United’s Chilean ace will stay put as he has no wish to depart the Champions League hopefuls.
A source apparently told the Express: “[He doesn’t have] any plans to leave and wants to remain at United.”
