Pogba wants Solskjaer to stay and reveals how Mourinho oversaw ‘loss of confidence’ at Man Utd
Man Utd star says players 'lost confidence' under Mourinho, says the French midfielder
MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Paul Pogba has said he wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer "to stay".
The French midfielder also spoke out about the rift between certain members of the squad and former boss Jose Mourinho.
Pogba was infamously dropped to the bench for Mourinho's final game in charge of the club, a shocking 3-1 defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool in December.
Since Solskjaer took the interim job, United have been excellent, winning 14 of his 19 matches - although they have lost two in a row.
Pogba has been one of United's best players in that time, scoring nine goals and adding seven assists in 17 games.
And the 26-year-old has backed Solskjaer to get the job full-time.
Solskjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.

Pogba told : "Of course we want him to stay, the results have been great. I have a great relationship with him, he has a great relationship with the players.
"When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solskjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.
"He is a really happy coach that gave confidence back to the players.
"This gave us the freedom to play and enjoy football again because maybe we lost that with the results that we had before."
