Barcelona will offer £100m transfer fee for Marcus Rashford in slim hope of persuading Man Utd to sell striker

BARCELONA are reportedly prepared to offer Manchester United £100million for striker Marcus Rashford.
While United have no intention of selling their top talent, the Spanish giants are ready to go all out to test their resolve.
Rashford's current deal at Old Trafford expires in the summer of 2020, and while United are confident in tying him down long-term, it hasn't been done yet.
So Barca are preparing to make their move with a £100m bid for the England star, according to .
But it appears the Spanish giants are well aware of how difficult it would be to prise the 21-year-old away from the Premier League.
Speaking to , an unnamed Barcelona executive said: "We don't want to approach a player that still has a contract with Manchester United.

"He's a great player but has [18 months] to run on his contract at Old Trafford.
"Even though it seems talks over a renewal have stopped for now, I'm sure United will try to convince him [to stay] however they can.
"He's one of the pillars of their future."
The Catalan giants are looking for a long-term successor to 32-year-old Luis Suarez and have put the United striker on a list of possible replacements.

Rashford and his representatives are locked in talks with the United who are keen to reward his progress with a lucrative new deal.
And even if talks continue into next season, United will trigger the 12-month option they have on his current contract.
Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann and Eintracht Frankfurt starlet Luka Jovic are two other potential transfer targets for Barca boss Ernesto Valverde.
