Bayern to follow up £68m Lucas deal with £125m swoop for De Ligt and Havertz
BAYERN MUNICH are reportedly set to follow up their £68million capture of Lucas Hernandez with a combined £125m swoop for Matthijs de Ligt and Kai Havertz.
claims German chiefs are ready to raid Ajax for 19-year-old centre-back De Ligt.
While adds that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Havertz, also 19, is closing in on an Allianz Arena switch as well.
Bayern are set to undergo an ambitious squad rebuild this summer after a tricky season with new boss Niko Kovac.
Veterans including Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery will depart to make room for new faces.
Bayern kicked off their summer spree with a £32m deal for Stuttgart’s Benjamin Pavard in January.

And the right-back will now be joined in Bavaria by fellow French World Cup winner Lucas Hernandez, who completed a £68m switch on Wednesday.
But Bayern aren’t finished just yet, and now look set to add Dutch maestro De Ligt to their new-look defence.
The Ajax captain is one of Europe’s most-wanted centre-backs and has been tipped to link up with club pal Frenkie de Jong at Barcelona.
However, he has since been advised to move to Bayern instead by Ajax legend Rafael van der Vaart.
And De Light could be joined at the club by German midfield sensation Havertz.

The playmaker operates as a No 10 and has contributed to 43 goals in just 19 appearances.
De Ligt is apparently set to cost Bayern £60m, while Havertz will set them back £65m.
Bayern are also still confident of signing Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea, and he could be available for around £45m with just one year remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract.
