THIERRY HENRY could be handed a route back to the Belgium national squad.
The Arsenal legend, 41, was assistant coach to Roberto Martinez before his three-month spell at Monaco.
But returning to international football is being considered by Martinez as Henry enjoys a positive relationship with players.
He was part of the backroom staff that went to the World Cup.
They finished third in Russia but Henry was tempted by being a No1 in France.
Henry is considering his next move and whether to return as a coach or pursue being a manager.
MONACO NIGHTMARE
He was sacked by Monaco in January after just 20 games in charge.
The Frenchman left the club deep in the relegation mire after winning just five matches in all competitions.
Henry was on Aston Villa’s shortlist to replace Steve Bruce in October before heading to the team where his career began.
LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS
Leonardo Jardim, the man fired before him at Monaco, has since returned to the position.
And he has led the 2017 Ligue 1 champions clear of the drop.
They are currently eight points above the relegation zone as they prepare to head to Caen on Sunday.
