Spanish publication Marca claim Mino Raiola has been in contact with Los Blancos over a summer move for his client
MANCHESTER UNITED star Paul Pogba is a "perfect fit" for Real Madrid - and the two clubs have been in contact over a summer transfer, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish publication Marca claim the World Cup winner's agent Mino Raiola has been on the phone with Los Blancos over a move for his client.
However, new permanent United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ordered club bosses to keep hold of Real targets Pogba and Marcus Rashford.
Earlier this season, Pogba made no bones about the fact he was desperate to leave Old Trafford.
But after the sacking of Jose Mourinho and arrival of Solskjaer, the Frenchman has looked a player reborn.
Real Madrid have been interested in Pogba before - when he quit Juventus and ended up back at United.
REAL-LY LEAVING
Now, Marca claim Raiola has been on the phone actively pushing for a £125million move to the Bernabeu after three years in Manchester.
While Pogba appears happier at United for now, he's made it clear he would love to play under Zinedine Zidane - now back in charge of the the Real Madrid first-team.
Earlier this month, Pogba revealed: "Real Madrid are a dream club for all. They're one of the greatest clubs in the world.
"Now they have Zidane as the coach and he is a dream for all kids and for all players, but right now I'm at Manchester United.
"There's a new coach there too and I'm playing. Later, nobody knows what the future will bring, but right now I'm at Manchester United."
Ever since, Solskjaer has been on the warpath in a desperate bid to cling on to the £89m midfielder.
Speaking of both Pogba and Rashford, the Norwegian claimed: “They are vital for our future.”
