MESUT OZIL couldn't resist a cheeky laugh when asked about Arsenal going above great rivals Tottenham last night - and fans absolutely loved it.
Goals from Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette saw the Gunners coast home with a 2-0 win against Newcastle.
The result means Arsenal moved into third spot in the Premier League, going above Spurs by two points.
Ozil, who put in a man-of-the-match performance during the Emirates triumph, was interviewed by Sky Sports after the game.
He said: "Our aim is to get to the top four, so of course we are happy that we are in front of Tottenham, it's always a competition with them."
As he highlighted the overtaking of their great rivals, Ozil was beaming and let out a chuckle.
He then added: "But if we play like today, we have a few more games in front of us and we want to win, we want to take all the points to get into the top four at the end of the season."
