Moutinho takes worst corner of the season as he passes it straight out for a goal-kick
Portuguese midfielder was the butt of the jokes at Molineux but luckily his team had the last laugh
WOLVES ace Joao Moutinho had fans howling with laughter after a ridiculously bad corner against Manchester United.
The Portuguese midfielder, 32, arrived in England with a huge reputation after his time with Porto and Euro 2016 victory.
But he somehow managed to boot the ball out for a goal kick when trying to play it short to Diogo Jota in the 20th minute.
Moutinho's side were pushing for an equaliser at the time after Scott McTominay's fine opener.
And fortunately it arrived soon later as Fred gave the ball away and Jota levelled the scores.
Moutinho may have been left red-faced but it was Ashley Young seeing red which will be the major talking point.
After the full-back's dismissal, Wolves pressed hard for a winner and had too much for the visitors.
Wolves continued pressing and their second goal was no great surprise.
Moutinho’s cross caused mayhem, Raul Jimenez and sub Phil Jones went for the ball and Leander Dendoncker attempted to make contact and it came of Chris Smalling.
Although you also have to point a finger at David De Gea who failed to try and take control.
