ANTONIO CONTE is reportedly set to take charge at Inter Milan this summer.

And the former Chelsea manager’s first major action will be to sell Mauro Icardi.

claims Conte, 49, will take charge at Inter this summer after winning three Serie A titles with Juventus between 2012 and 2014.

He has been out of work ever since his Chelsea sacking last summer.

But with a compensation package set to be decided in court, Conte will soon be free to replace Luciano Spalletti at the San Siro.

Jose Mourinho had been tipped for an incredible return to Inter after winning the treble there in 2010.

But it appears the board would rather trust their future with Conte, who is sure to instil a new fearless style of play through the ranks.

ICKY THUMP

However, the first victim of Conte’s regime is set to be misfit striker Icardi, 26.

The Argentine was stripped of the Inter captaincy earlier this year after a contract stand-off with the club’s hierarchy.

Icardi then claimed to be injured to avoid playing before declaring himself available again.

But Spalletti refused to bow to pressure and continued to drop Icardi from the matchday squad.

Spalletti later claimed the forward was humiliating Inter with his actions.

Icardi then earned a shock recall against Genoa on Wednesday and scored a penalty during the 4-0 win.

However, Conte is not going to be lenient when he arrives at Inter this summer.

And after axing Diego Costa at Chelsea, Conte will also force Icardi into moving away, with Roma's Edin Dzeko a potential replacement.

It’s believed the Blues are interested, despite their transfer ban.

While Manchester United are believed to be keeping tabs.

But Inter are apparently hoping someone will meet Icardi’s £95million release clause after already rejecting a £43m offer from Juventus.
