WILFRIED ZAHA has called out a vile football fan that targeted him with racist tweets after he was fouled for a penalty in Crystal Palace's 1-0 win over Newcastle.
The 26-year-old Ivory Coast star was clumsily challenged by DeAndre Yedlin which allowed Luka Milivojevic to seal the three points for the visitors from the spot.
After the match, the Eagles winger was tagged in several derogatory posts on Twitter but showed a classy response by quoting one of the sick taunts with the caption: "lol."
In a sad day for football, two other incidents of racial abuse were also reported by Champions clubs Brentford and Wigan during the games on Saturday.
A Bees fan was arrested for an alleged "racially aggravated" offence against Derby's Duane Holmes after the midfielder reported the shocking incident at Griffin Park.
Wigan said they were angered by online abuse directed at Nathan Byrne after he rescued a point for the Latics the 2-2 Championship thriller with Bristol City.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Zaha has suffered such abhorrent abuse this season, after revealing trolls had also sent death wishes on his family.
The Eagles star was also attacked online after winning a late penalty during Palace’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal in October.
At the time, he responded on Instagram: “For all the people taking it one step further and being racist and wishing death on my family I wish you and your families the best too x p.s my life is still very good despite your hate.”
Zaha's influence in the south London club's narrow win over Newcastle all but secured their safety, as they moved eleven points clear of third-bottom Cardiff.
