TROY DEENEY made his opinion on Raul Jimenez's mask-wearing goal celebration against Watford on Sunday very clear, saying the Mexican forward can wear it again "now he's a loser".

The Wolves forward donned the wrestling mask after making it 2-0 and seemingly settling the FA Cup semi-final in his side's favour.

However Watford turned things around at Wembley, with the game finishing 3-2 to in favour of the Hornets after extra-time.

Jimenez's celebration - in which he donned a mask stashed behind the goal - was not viewed favourably by Watford captain Deeney, who claimed to be biting his tongue while summarising the incident.

Speaking in a post-match interview, he said: "I genuinely didn't see that until just now.

"There's a bit of me that wants to say something nasty but I won't.

"But I'm glad he put that mask on, he can wear that out as well, now he's a loser.

";So enjoy the mask, we got the victory."

STUNNING COMEBACK

Wolves led 2-0 in Sunday's clash before a late comeback sent the match into extra-time.

Deeney converted a 94th minute penalty either side of Gerard Deulofeu's brace, giving him the last laugh despite not initially witnessing Jimenez's celebration at the goal which made it 2-0.

The striker continued: "I thought it was a good goal, personally, with some poor defending from our point of view.

"Don't get me wrong, he's a top top player. He plays a number nine position on his own really well.

"But I didn't see the mask thing, so I'm quite happy I only saw it now because I probably would have lost my head had I seen that.

"I think you've got to wear the mask and do all that stuff when you know you're going to win the game."

Manchester City are all that stands between Deeney's Watford and a first-ever FA Cup trophy, the club having only previously reached the final under Graham Taylor in 1984.
