ARSENAL fans are furious that out-of-favour Shkodran Mustafi could start against Napoli as the club try to cope with their crippling injury crisis.
The German defender looks set to keep his spot in the starting line-up after Unai Emery confirmed Laurent Koscielny and Granit Xhaka are doubts.
Mustafi started Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Everton, but his shocking performance has left fans thinking the worst.
The 26-year-old was at fault for Phil Jagielka's first goal as the Gunners dropped crucial points in their push for a top-four finish.
Supporters called for him to be dropped for the Europa League clash, but Emery has very few options.
Fans have jumped to the conclusion that Mustafi will have to fill the void in the heart of the Arsenal's defence, but they are far from happy about it.
After a tweet was posted about Xhaka and Koscielny, one fan replied: "Both should start tomorrow. Can't take Mustafi and Elneny anymore."
Another added: "Playing in the Arsenal first team isn't much of an achievement considering they still field Mustafi and Iwobi."
While another posted a picture of Mustafi doing a handstand with the caption: "How Mustafi trains ahead of Napoli."

Speaking about his injury concerns ahead of the match, Emery said: "We were waiting to see if Laurent could play but it wasn't possible.
"I want to be positive for Thursday, it depends how he is progressing. Xhaka is the same. They are going to be doubts for Thursday. But we have players and can take the performance with all the players."
Koscielny is recovering from a bruised left foot and Xhaka has been struggling with his left groin, but both will be assessed before the match.
