MASON GREENWOOD'S epic 40-yard free-kick for the Under-23s against Newcastle has led fans to call for him to replace Alexis Sanchez in the squad to face Barcelona.
The teenager has been in stunning form for the Red Devils' youth sides this season - chipping in with 27 goals and 12 assists in 27 games.
He has also featured in three games for United under Ole Gunnar Solskajaer, where he become the second youngest in their history to play in a European competition.
And supporters are desperate to him to be flown to Barcelona for the crucial Champions League clash against Barca at the Nou Camp tonight.
Sanchez - who has been out with a knee injury since March 2 - is back in the squad to face the La Liga giants, though many fans would rather the Chilean stayed at home.
Speaking on the travelling squad, one tweeted: "Would genuinely have Greenwood over Sanchez."
Another said: "Leave Sanchez at home and bring Greenwood."
While one commented: "Sanchez better turn up in Barcelona. No way Greenwood should've been binned for that fraud."
One simply stated: "Mason Greenwood master class. He should be in Barca now. Alexis Sanchez is finished."

Since joining from Arsenal in January 2018 in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sanchez has netted just five times in 41 games for United.
United go into tonight's clash against the Blaugrana trailing 1-0 after Luke Shaw inadvertently scored an own goal at Old Trafford last week.
