Sarri has failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge this season, but Napoli fans want him back to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

The Serie A side's supporters held up a banner during the 2-1 defeat by Atlanta which read: "Sarri one of us."

And a number of Chelsea fans are so desperate to get rid of him that they even offered to pay for his flight back to the San Paolo Stadium.

One Twitter user said: "I'll book and pay for his flight."

Another added: "I'll drive him to the airport for you."

And alongside a number of praying emojis, another added: "Please please please take Sarriball back to Napoli.";

Some fans pleaded for Napoli and Chelsea to complete a straight swap deal to bring Ancelotti back to Stamford Bridge.

One said: "I'd have Ancelotti back at Chelsea over Sarri any day of the week. Swap deal with immediate effect please."

Sarri failed to win a trophy during his three-year spell with Napoli, but he has remained a fans' favourite.

But Chelsea supporters think otherwise after his side threw away the chance to go third in the Premier League.

During Monday's draw, Sarri was sent off by referee Kevin Friend following a bust-up on the sidelines.
