PAUL POGBA has been named in the PFA Team of the Year - and is the only non-Manchester City or Liverpool player.

The Manchester United midfielder made the cut but there was no space for Eden Hazard despite being nominated for the Player of the Year gong.

The team is voted for by Premier League players and was revealed this morning.

Manchester City stars Ederson, Aymeric Laporte, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero are in.

And from title-rivals Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane were voted in.

The likes of Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Sergio Aguero and Sadio Mane - all nominated for the PFA Player of the Year - were voted in.

City's Ederson, Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho as well as Liverpool full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson also got in.

Virgil van Dijk completes the XI and is expected to be named the Player of the Year ahead of England winger Sterling at the prestigious awards held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel.

But Harry Kane and David De Gea look set to miss out, despite both being in the last FOUR Teams of the Year.

Pogba, 26, has come under heavy criticism throughout his time back at Old Trafford since returning in 2016.

And his performances in recent weeks - as United have slipped to seven defeats in nine matches - will surely leave some questioning whether they made the right vote.

He's a mature player and he's won big trophies. I don’t think he leads by example from what I see.

Roy Keane on Paul Pogba

And former United midfielder Roy Keane was not afraid to blast the Frenchman, claiming he has a "big problem".

Speaking last night during coverage of the Manchester derby, Keane said: "I wouldn’t believe a word he says. There's no meaning behind his words. I don’t even think he believes it himself.

"He's talking about being a good team-mate. If you want to be a good team-mate then you have to run back and defend.

"He said it got a bit heated - I heard they were actually throwing their hair gel at each other, it got that heated.

"The guy is a talented boy. But it’s the same things over and over again and the number of times I've seen him where he isn’t running back.

"He's talking about body language and throwing his arms in the air – he's a big problem for United.

"You need good examples and senior players. He's a mature player and he's won big trophies. I don’t think he leads by example from what I see."

Despite the criticism, this has statistically been Pogba's best Premier League season season.

He has 13 league goals - more than any other United player this term - and also tops the club's charts for assists with nine.

But with reports suggesting he could be on his way to Real Madrid this summer, Pogba may only have three Premier League matches left as United finish the season against Chelsea, Huddersfield and Cardiff.
