Solskjaer insists Man Utd ‘can still lure world’s top stars’ even without Champions League as they line up Sancho and Rice bids
Old Trafford boss claims agents have been ringing him to tout their players
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER says that Manchester United are still a big pull for top players despite their fall from grace.
United are in danger of missing out on the Champions League as they stand three points off fourth placed Chelsea in sixth with an inferior goal difference.
But boss Solskjaer denies a return to the Europa League will make buying players more difficult.
Jadon Sancho, Declan Rice, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire are all on Solskjaer's radar this summer.
While the likes of Gareth Bale and Portuguese pair Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes have also been linked.
Solskjaer, pictured arriving at Carrington in a Volvo 4x4 this morning, said: “In the long term planning we have to think about being in the Champions League next season but we might not be.
“But you'd be surprised how many players' agents have been touting... telling us their players would love to be a part of Manchester United in the future.
“That's the lure and the potential and size of the club, that we will get back to the good days.
