BT do it again as Eriksen misses celebrations to do interview with Des Kelly after Spurs win over Ajax

Just 24 hours after Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson missed the Kop celebrations, the TV channel were at it again

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN missed out on Tottenham's celebrations in front of their own fans - because he was being interviewed by BT Sport.

Less than 24 hours after Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was held up from joining in his club's party in front of the Kop for a chat, the TV channel was at it again.

Spurs had just replicated Liverpool's stunning comeback against Barcelona by beating Ajax 3-2 in their own back yard to win on away goals over the two legs.

Lucas Moura, occupying the striker's role in the absence of Harry Kane, was the hero as he scored all three goals.

It means the Champions League final on June 1 will be between the two English teams in a huge boost to the Premier League.

But as Spurs' players and staff celebrated wildly in front of the travelling support at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, the Dane was absent.

Let the bloke go a celebrate

Tottenham fan on Twitter

That's because he was yards away speaking to BT's pitchside analyst Kelly.

It wasn't missed by eagle-eyed viewers who slammed the TV channel.

Liam Marsh wrote: "Cut the interview and let Eriksen celebrate with his teammates you absolute cretins @btsport."

Another football fan posted on Twitter: "Stop interviewing Eriksen and let the bloke go a celebrate!!"

And Andrew Steel saw the similarities to Henderson's situation the previous evening, writing: "I see it's Christian Eriksen's turn for Des Kelly to keep from joining in the celebrations."

For the record, Eriksen told Kelly that Spurs had triumphed because of "heart and Lucas Moura".

Speaking of three-goal star Moura, Eriksen added: "He will be a hero, I hope he gets a statue after this!"
