Sarri hints Hazard’s head has gone amid Real Madrid transfer interest with Belgian a doubt for Chelsea’s Prem finale

The Italian boss admitted the Belgian superstar may have his mind on other things as he is likely to miss the Blues' final league fixture

MAURIZIO SARRI admitted Eden Hazard's head may be on other things as his star man looks likely to miss Chelsea's Premier League finale against Leicester.

Despite the Blues' qualification for the Europa League final and a top-four place guaranteed, the Italian confessed it might not be enough to keep the Belgian.

Chelsea travel to Leicester on the final day of the season looking to secure third spot in the league - but Hazard looks set to start on the bench.

With the Europa League final in Baku approaching, Sarri is expected to rest the 28-year-old in what looks likely to be his final Premier League game.

Hazard is reportedly 'on the verge of agreeing personal terms' with Real Madrid as part of a £100m transfer and his boss thinks the prospect of the winger's 'dream move' may be distracting him.

Sarri said: "I don't know. If Hazard is thinking the history here is finished then in his mind it is finished.

"I can try to speak to him but it's not easy because of course I want Hazard, but I want a Hazard with a very high level of motivation.

"You have to ask the club because I am not in control of the market and I am not in charge of the renewal of the contract so I am not able to answer."

He added: "I can only speak to the player but like a father, not like a manager.

"If I speak to him, I will not tell you anything because it's a discussion between a father and a son."

Chelsea face Arsenal in the Europa League final on May 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
