Bayern Munich to send doctor to assess Callum Hudson-Odoi’s Achilles before launching new bid for Chelsea kid
England international's recovery is going better than expected which could see him move this summer
BAYERN MUNICH will launch a fresh Callum Hudson-Odoi bid if they get the all clear from doctors, according to reports.
SunSport revealed yesterday that Chelsea's Young Player of the Year is recovering from his Achilles injury faster than expected.
And on the back of the news, insists that Bayern stepping up their second attempt to complete the signing as long as their medics give the 18-year-old the all-clear.
Hudson-Odoi has successful surgery on a ruptured Achilles and he could be back in just four to five months.
He suffered the horror injury a fortnight ago and it was feared he could miss more than six months.
The ace now hopes to start training again during pre-season before returning to action in September.
Chelsea do not want to lose their talent but he has just one year remaining on his contract.
And with foreign clubs able to approach him in January, they risk losing him for a free at the end of next season.

Bayern chiefs are monitoring his return to action closely ahead of launching another bid to land their No 1 target.
The German giants failed with a £35million bid to buy him in January, with Blues boss Maurizio Sarri starting him in four Premier League games after he was confirmed as staying put.
Chelsea's transfer ban may throw a spanner in the works, however, with Stamford Bridge chiefs needing to keep hold of first-team options.
