OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER'S attempts to flog Anthony Martial could be blocked by club owner Joel Glazer, according to reports.
The Old Trafford chief is not happy with the Frenchman's efforts in training - and fans are also growing frustrated.
But that Martial, 23, is a personal favourite of bigwig Glazer, who will over-rule any attempts to sell him.
In fact, Martial is Glazer's favourite player and he allegedly considers him "to be the club's Pele'".
In the build-up to signing a new contract in January, Martial looked like his former self as he helped Solskjaer start with a bang.
But his form has tailed off dramatically and a half-hearted warm-up before a draw with Chelsea was heavily criticised by the United faithful.
SunSport revealed that Martial was on the chopping block, with Solskjaer looking to overhaul his ailing squad after threatening to cut HALF of the team.
He tore into his side after their humiliating 2-0 home defeat by relegated Cardiff on Sunday which brought a miserable season to an end.
He cancelled a squad debriefing due on Monday and simply outlined the short-term future to them.

Solskjaer then said he was prepared to get rid of half the team if he had to because of their attitude.
And he reminded them that having finished outside the top four they now needed Manchester City to win the FA Cup or their whole pre-season will have to be rearranged.
If Watford were to win at Wembley, United would drop into the second qualifying round of the Europa League which begins in July, when the Red Devils are supposed to be on tour.
