Southampton and Newcastle line up Yannick Bolasie transfer as he looks to end Everton hell
The winger spent this season out on loan with Aston Villa and then Anderlecht after being deemed surplus to requirements by Marco Silva
SOUTHAMPTON and Newcastle are among the clubs weighing up a move for Everton exile Yannick Bolasie.
Former club Crystal Palace would consider a season-long loan for the player they sold to the Toffees for £25million in 2016.
But Everton are keen to sell Bolasie outright and are looking for £7m or more.
The DR Congo international suffered a serious knee injury less than four months after his big-money move to Goodison Park that threatened to end his career and kept him out for more than a year.
Bolasie, 29, made a number of appearances for Sam Allardyce but new Everton boss Marco Silva made it clear Bolasie was not part of his plans last summer.
He spent the first half of this season on loan at Aston Villa where he managed two goals in 21 appearances.
The winger then enjoyed a good spell at Belgian side Anderlecht, scoring four times in seven matches in the regular season.
Turkish sides Besiktas and Galatasarary are also looking at Bolasie.
Meanwhile, French club Lille see him as a potential replacement for Premier League-bound Nicolas Pepe.
SunSport understands Manchester United are in a transfer battle with Real Madrid over the Ivory Coast international.
Only Kylian Mbappe has more Ligue 1 goals than Pepe’s 20 this season.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also thought to be keen on the exciting winger, 23, who would cost at least £45m.
