And the 25-year-old’s efforts have not gone unnoticed on the continent, with the Red Devils and Arsenal both keen on bringing him to the Premier League.

Italian club Inter Milan are the latest to join the hunt for his signature – and all three have now received a boost in their pursuit of Partey.

The ex-Mallorca and Almeria loanee’s representative Daniel Jimenez was asked this week over links with Inter.

And he replied to by letting slip how much it will cost to buy his client.

Jimenez said: “I can say that right now, I haven’t talked to anyone, even if Inter are a top club.

“There’s a €50m (£43.5m) release clause in his contract, a figure that’s cheap for a player like Thomas.

“We’ll wait for the season to end and then we’ll see.”

Partey is under contract until 2023 and appears to be keen on staying with Diego Simeone’s side.

He told in April: “I’ve grown up in Atleti and I am sure I will stay here.

“I don’t know of another place that will understand how I play like they do here.”

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bolster his squad this summer.

And he is believed to be looking for midfield reinforcements after Marouane Fellaini’s departure in January and Ander Herrera’s upcoming exit to Paris Saint-Germain.
