And Juve have confirmed the tactician will announce his exit at a press conference tomorrow.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is a shock candidate to replace Allegri.

Despite guaranteeing the Blues a top-four finish, there are still rumours that Sarri could be given the boot at Stamford Bridge this summer.

Fans have never taken to his "Sarri-ball" tactics, and his treatment of of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi has alienated him still further.

Now Italian newspaper  is reporting that the 60-year-old is being eyed by Juventus for their top job.

Chelsea, in turn, have been following club legend Frank Lampard's run to the play-off final with Derby.

And Lamps could return to the club he loves as boss if Sarri moves back to Italy.

Whoever is in the Stamford Bridge hot-seat next season will be in a tricky position if the Blues cannot get their transfer ban overturned.
