Sending a clear message to the board, Los Blancos' fans made their feelings known but the results will not make easy reading for Pogba.

The World-Cup-winner had a tough campaign at Old Trafford and it was certainly reflected in the Madrid fans opinion of him.

Hazard is a summer target for the Spanish giants and after seemingly waving goodbye to Chelsea at the end of last season, it seems increasingly likely that he will pull on a famous white shirt next campaign.

Spanish newspaper polled 160,000 fans ahead of a transfer window in which boss Zinedine Zidane is expected to receive some serious backing.

Of all fans asked, Hazard received a whopping 53,700 votes pipping Eintracht Frankfurt's Luka Jovic to top spot.

Christian Eriksen and Neymar came in third and fourth respectively while Lyon's Tanguy Ndombele got 16,400 votes and came fifth.

Embarrassingly for Manchester United's Pogba, he received just 13,800 votes - less than ten percent - despite reportedly telling Real chiefs he would take a pay cut to secure a move to the Bernabeu.

While there is still a chance more than one of the players in the vote could end up at Madrid, it is believed Real could cull up to 17 players in a bid to fund them.
