The open-top bus has "Fourmidables" printed on the side to symbolise the four trophies they have won this term.

City added the 2018/19 Community Shield to their evergrowing collection after a 2-0 win over Chelsea in August.

Fans flooded the streets of Manchester armed with flares, flags and banners to show their appreciation to the players.

One supporter even dressed their dog in a Manchester City jersey - complete with Sergio Aguero's name on the back.

While others carried cardboard cut-outs of club legend Vincent Kompany ahead of his summer switch to Anderlecht.

The veteran defender has been appointed as the new player manager of the Belgian club after 11 years with the Blues.

City's team made the 1.5km journey from the Manchester Town Hall to the Manchester Cathedral.
