ANTONIO CONTE has reportedly snubbed former club Juventus after agreeing to become Inter Milan’s new boss, paving the way for Maurizio Sarri to leave Chelsea.
The claims Conte, 49, will return to Serie A with the Nerazzurri after being sacked by the Blues last summer.
Conte had been linked with a move back to Juventus, where he won three consecutive Serie A titles between 2011 and 2014.
He then put the Italian national team back on the map with a fine showing at Euro 2016 before winning the Premier League and FA Cup during two seasons at Stamford Bridge.
But Conte is now set to replace Luciano Spalletti at the San Siro on a four-year contract after rejecting a return to Turin.
SunSport understands the Serie A champions have instead turned their attention to current Chelsea gaffer, and Conte's successor, Sarri.
The former Napoli tactician's future in London is uncertain, and Sarri wants Roman Abramovich to make a quick decision, with Chelsea said to be considering an approach for club legend and Derby boss Frank Lampard.

Ironically, axed Juventus tactician Max Allegri has also been linked with the Stamford Bridge hot seat.
But Sarri could find himself losing out on the Juventus job to Jose Mourinho, who is wanted by Cristiano Ronaldo after the pair enjoyed a successful three years together at Real Madrid.
The Special One has been out of work since leaving Manchester United in January and is adamant he will be back in a job this July.
