ARSENAL are set to completely revamp their transfer policy in a desperate bid to avoid another Aaron Ramsey-style contract saga.
Managing director Vinai Venkatesham has claimed the Gunners must do more to not lose their prized assets for nothing.
Ramsey is joining Juventus as his contract runs down this summer, while similar things happened with Alexis Sanchez and Jack Wilshere in recent seasons.
Arsenal are also going to lose Danny Welbeck on a free this summer as they allowed his contract to expire.
Now Venkatesham has vowed the Gunners will either sell players who have an expiring contract - or offer them a new deal.
Venkatesham claimed: "When we are selling players we need to maximise the funds we get to reinvest in the team.
RENEW OR SELL
"We need to be really disciplined when we are dealing with senior players who are not towards the end of their careers.
"So that means we have to start making the difficult decisions when they have two years left on the contracts.
"We're either going to renew those contracts or we're going to be selling them."
Venkatesham added: "We're going to have to be brave in those decisions.

"We can't be in a situation where we're allowing players to walk out of the door for free unless they are coming towards the end of their careers."
Arsenal are now braced for a busy summer with EIGHT first-team stars currently having two years or less on their current contracts.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Laurent Koscielny are just four of those players who risk being lost for nothing.
