TOTTENHAM have been told to shell out £620million if they want to sign Marco Asensio, according to reports.
Chelsea and Spurs have both shown an interest in the Spanish playmaker, 23.
But claims Real Madrid told Daniel Levy they have no intention of selling - unless Asensio's release clause of £620m is met.
The forward is under contract until 2023 and the Spanish giants are under no pressure the sell.
Asensio was believed to be considering his future as Los Blancos endured an awful campaign.
But Zinedine Zidane is a huge fan and his return for a second spell has all-but ruled out an exit.
Chelsea's interest was already on the wane as the Blues are currently banned from signing players.
Stamford Bridge chiefs were considering an appeal but may now accept their rap for this window before trying to get their punishment eased and sign players in January.
