FANS are joking that Roy Keane missed the Manchester United reunion match held at Old Trafford yesterday due to Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard's dodgy outfits.

The current Red Devils duo were pitchside as the legendary '99 Treble-winning team - guided by Sir Alex Ferguson from the sidelines - beat Bayern Munich legends 5-0.

David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all took part in a tribute to their Champions League heroics - 20 years after the famous Camp Nou final.

But Keane, 47, didn't line up with his former team-mates and fans came up with a theory behind the Red Devils hero's absence.

They suggested that the angry Irishman probably just couldn't bear Rashford and Lingard's outfits.

Lingard looked hilarious, wearing a grey blazer on a black turtleneck sweater and sporting Harry Potter-like glasses.

And Red Devils striker Rashford donned a beige suite on a white, dress shirt - with both wearing white snickers.

One fan even joked Rashford's look bore an uncanny resemblance to Forrest Gump from the Hollywood blockbuster of the same name.

And others couldn't stop themselves from mocking the United duo who were working at the event as pundits.

One wrote: "Lol you have to laugh."

While another added: "That’s everything wrong with modern day footballers these days."

Another wrote: "From Roy Keane and Paul Scholes to these two!"

Keane slammed Lingard for launching his clothing brand just days before a Premier League clash with Liverpool in December.
