Man Utd scouts to run final checks on Joao Felix before taking on City in £120m transfer tussle for Portugal wonderkid

MANCHESTER UNITED have sent scouts to run "final checks" on Benfica starlet Joao Felix ahead of a move that could cost £120million, according to reports.
The 19-year-old could be in action against Switzerland in Portugal's Nations League semi-final clash in Porto on Wednesday.
And United would face competition from Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester City if they do make a swoop for the teenager.
Fernando Santos' side are hosting the inaugural four-team mini tournament and scouts are expected from Europe's top clubs.

Real Madrid have had an £80million bid rejected already but they are hoping to use keeper Keylor Navas as part of a future deal.

Benfica have developed some outstanding talent in recent years and both Manchester clubs have former Eagles players on their books.
United have Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic, while City have Bernardo Silva and keeper Ederson Moraes.

The Manchester giants are also tipped to make a move for Matthijs De Ligt, but the Dutch starlet reportedly fancies joining Barcelona instead.
Ajax captain De Ligt, 19, could also stay in Amsterdam for one more season after the Catalan giants failed to match his wage demands.
