Real Madrid use Gareth Bale in new kit launch… and Man Utd transfer target doesn’t look happy about it

REAL MADRID showed off their new kit on Friday morning with Gareth Bale one of a number of unhappy stars involved.

The Welsh winger's future has been subject to speculation for some time and his attempts to look serious in promotional material just came across as rather grumpy.

Real also wheeled out Keylor Navas, Isco and Lucas Vazquez for the reveal despite talk of Zinedine Zidane wanting them sold.

As is traditional, the kit itself is largely white with this year's Adidas offering trimmed in gold detail.

The Fly Emirates sponsor, triple bands down the shoulder, FIFA Club World Cup holder's badge and Adidas logo are all featured in gold.

Selecting Bale to appear in the release material is something of a surprise as clubs rarely pick outcast or wantaway players to show off their new season's kit.

Chelsea used Eden Hazard in their 2019/20 shirt announcement but the Belgian is their star name and may not actually leave for some weeks - even if a move to Real Madrid is all but signed off.

But Bale isn't the only face in today's advertisement touted for a summer exit.

Fellow winger Vazquez is said to have asked to move with little opposition from the club, and Isco is another that Los Blancos are ready to hear offers for.

Likewise, goalkeeper Navas is set to move on with Benfica and Manchester United said to be keen.

The Red Devils were strongly reported to be in for Bale last summer but Inter Milan are also circling this time around.

With Real nonetheless happy to use them in their new kit announcement, they may not be expecting a deal to be agreed any time soon.
